The Rocks Market

Image
Over tens of thousands of years ago The Rocks was a pristine coastline, the home of the Gadigal people - today it’s a cultural and gathering hub at the centre of Australia’s largest city. Take a stroll around The Rocks and you’ll see evidence of an intriguing, rich history everywhere you turn. You might walk laneways of cobblestone, discover heritage homes that offer an insight into life centuries ago, or catch a view of the Harbour Bridge - which is a piece of history itself.   The Rocks Markets only opens on Saturday’s and Sunday’s so you can’t visit in on weekdays. If you want to go there you’ll have to   travel through the CBD along Elizabeth Street by bus. Then you will have to get off the bus at Bridge Street and head north to The Rocks. Bus stops are also located along Alfred Street. After doing some research, the shop I am more interested in is Aesop, an  business that sells skin, hair and body care products.  Only the highest quality ingr...

Darling Harbour

Image
The Darling Harbour is full of centers, shops and different businesses that offers a lot of joyful activities. If you enter their official website, you can choose between some attractions, experiences, recreation or even some activities on the water. The one I have found the more interesting and exciting is the Sydney Jet. With Sydney Jet, you can see most of Sydney Harbour in just 30 minutes. Strap in and get ready for a high-speed ride around the harbour, performing quick spins, insane fishtails and sweeping turns. You’ll go under the Sydney Harbour Bridge, past the Opera House and through to Watson’s Bay, seeing some of the most iconic buildings of the city. In this web you can find more information about the tour:  https://sydneyjet.com/ The link to my Google Site:  https://sites.google.com/bilbokoeskolapioak.org/sydney-nerea/the-rocks
