The Rocks Market

Over tens of thousands of years ago The Rocks was a pristine coastline, the home of the Gadigal people - today it’s a cultural and gathering hub at the centre of Australia’s largest city.

Take a stroll around The Rocks and you’ll see evidence of an intriguing, rich history everywhere you turn. You might walk laneways of cobblestone, discover heritage homes that offer an insight into life centuries ago, or catch a view of the Harbour Bridge - which is a piece of history itself.

The Rocks Markets only opens on Saturday’s and Sunday’s so you can’t visit in on weekdays. If you want to go there you’ll have to  travel through the CBD along Elizabeth Street by bus. Then you will have to get off the bus at Bridge Street and head north to The Rocks. Bus stops are also located along Alfred Street.

After doing some research, the shop I am more interested in is Aesop, an business that sells skin, hair and body care products. Only the highest quality ingredients are used, with antioxidant properties and proven effectiveness.
