To get to the Sydney Opera House, we will hire some bicycles and we will park them on their Bicycle parking, that is located beneath the Monumental Steps.
My family and I will be going on the Spanish Tour and we will be paying $109. In this tour they will explain to us all the history and the secret this amazing building keeps.
The Sydney Opera House was designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon. He won an international design competition in 1957 for the building's unique and iconic design, characterized by its sail-like shells.
Utzon faced numerous challenges during the construction phase due to technical difficulties and budget constraints. Despite this he decided to finish his job, and nowadays it is an iconic symbol of Australia and of the world.
The Sydney Opera House was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List on June 28, 2007. Its architectural significance and cultural importance contributed to its recognition as a site of outstanding universal value.
