Some people also know this country as “The land down under”. This nickname comes because stars and constellations appear upside down and reverse,

Some people thinks that Australia’s climate is warm and rainy, but this is incorrect. It is true that is dry, because more than 33% of Australia is desert. And the largest one and most famous one is called The Great Victoria Desert.
